- Play the Serenade of Water. Equip the Zora Tunic and Iron Boots, then enter the water north of the warp island.
- Hookshot the diamond above the barred entrance. Enter and remove the boots to surface inside the Water Temple.

After the temple: Fire Arrows
Lake Hylia
- After clearing the Water Temple, stand on the lake’s central island and face east. Wait for the rising sun to line up with the small eastern island, then shoot an arrow at the sun.
- A scene shows Fire Arrows landing on the small island; swim over and collect them. They consume magic: without enough magic, the bow fires a normal arrow instead.
